Duty Free, which celebrated its 31st
anniversary on 20th December, recorded annual sales of Dhs 6.999 billion
(US$1.917 billion) last year.
Its
founding principal of providing travellers with a first class retail experience
in a shopper-friendly environment and a diverse range of products still holds
true to this day. Employing over 5,500 people, Dubai Duty Free has consistently
raised the benchmark for airport retailing and it continues to grow.
To
date, Dubai Duty Free has received over 470 awards which bear testimony to the
operation’s retail success including being named the “Airport Retailer of the
Year in Single Location” at the prestigious Frontier Awards 2014 held in
Cannes; “Best Airport in Duty Free
Shopping” presented at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards; “Middle East
Travel Retailer of the Year” from DFNI Asia Pacific; the “Superbrands Awards for Excellence in
Branding” received from Superbrands Council UAE and the Global Traveller US

Sales Assistant
Being
a Sales Assistant in Dubai Duty Free is all about working as part of a team to
ensure that the highest quality of service is delivered to our customers. Our
Sales Assistants are friendly, warm, and welcoming towards all our customers.
The Sales Assistant role requires patience and a strong willingness to work
with people. As a Sales Assistant, your key responsibilities will be:
- Sell products available in DDF shops
- Approach and assist customers in the shop
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop
- Arrange merchandise according to display guidelines
- Replenish empty shelves
- Process payments and operate Electronic Cash Registers
Warehouse Assistant
Being a
Warehouse Assistant in Dubai Duty Free is all about working as part of a team
in an efficient and effective way to deliver our products to the shop floor on
time and as needed. Our Warehouse Assistants are essential to the everyday
operations of our warehouse and our business. As a Warehouse Assistant, your
key responsibilities will be:
- Assist in receiving, checking, arranging, replenishing, and transferring of merchandise to all areas
- Keep records of products and merchandise received and delivered to other areas
- Coordinate with different departments regarding stock requisition and availability
- Drive a forklift
- Operate stock management systems such as WMS, MHCS, etc.
